Discussion on the differences in how men and women express their feelings

Do you always hope that men can be like your best friend, subtly perceiving your emotions and constantly asking “Are you tired?” or “Are you happy?”? But honestly, this isn’t their instinct.

Think about it: we take such good care of him, yet he can’t learn to reciprocate with “feedback.” It’s not that he doesn’t love you; it’s that he genuinely doesn’t know how to express it. He only knows how to make you happy through the most direct methods—buying bags, giving gifts, sending red envelopes—not as a perfunctory gesture, but because he truly can’t find a gentler way, and he can’t stand constantly scrutinizing the details of your life and repeatedly questioning your emotions—that’s too exhausting and agonizing for him.

So stop blaming him for being “not considerate enough,” and don’t force him to become the person you want him to be.
True tolerance is never about demanding he become someone else, but about allowing him to love you in his clumsy way, and allowing ourselves to slow down the pace of life a little, learning to find our own sense of security and happiness in his “straightforward expressions.”
