Thai police urge: Do not film sex videos on Valentine's Day!

“The couples may have recorded the sex videos willingly. But if they break up in the future, the man is very likely to release edited videos online to harm the woman,” Officer Deepor said.

Police say that criminals who use sexual blackmail to harm women can be people close to you or strangers online who persuade you to send them private photos.
Once photos or videos are sent out, they could very well be used by criminals as leverage to extort money or demand more sexual relations.
He added that sexual extortion is just one type of crime related to love, but it causes the greatest economic and reputational damage.
Another type of crime related to love is “telecom fraud,” which has flourished since the rise of social networks.
Criminals typically steal pictures of other handsome men and pretend to be them when chatting with women. Once the woman becomes infatuated and believes the man is truly in love with her, that’s when the man asks for money .
The third type of crime related to love is similar to the first one and is called a “hybrid scam,” which often involves luring women into making investments.
Regardless of the type of crime, disputes that real or fake couples often face after breaking up are mostly related to “sex” and “money”.
Therefore, before Valentine’s Day, police officers, who are already familiar with the criminals’ tactics, urged everyone:

A deputy spokesperson for the Royal Thai Police stated that last month alone, Thailand saw 168 cases of romance-related telecom fraud and 235 cases of mixed scams.
The total economic loss caused by these hundreds of cases amounted to 190 million Thai baht.

Every Valentine’s Day, Thai police raid motels, shopping malls, and parks to ensure the safety of young people.
Bangkok police stated that parks, restaurants, shopping malls, and motels are common locations for sexual activity. The raids on these locations were to prevent minors from engaging in misconduct.
It’s one thing to film at home, but what’s truly outrageous are those who act like nobody’s business on !
Last Christmas, at 4 a.m. on the streets of Pattaya , a white tourist had sex with a sex worker!

According to eyewitnesses, the audacious white tourist even waved at the camera filming him. Based on his accent, he was likely a British tourist.
The two did it for half an hour without paying attention to anyone else , then the man handed the woman something (it was probably money), and the woman left.

This incident not only disgusted the neighbors but also angered the police. Doing such a thing in public is a violation of Thai law.
