Spare Tire and Fake Love in a Controversial Romance Film

When I saw the title “Friend Zone,” I had a strong urge to see this movie. (It’s available on all major video platforms now.)

But back to reality, what are the chances of a backup plan becoming the main one?

04In contrast, “Friend Zone” seems too ordinary, with few points that can resonate with the audience or make them think. The male and female leads are each entangled in their own petty love affairs, making the scope somewhat narrow.The emotional entanglement between the two characters is somewhat distant from real life, and this distance creates a sense of alienation for the audience.Even if you’re a true simp or a backup option watching this movie, you probably won’t identify with the male lead.The Douban rating for “Friend Zone” is 6.4, which is a passing grade, but it has absolutely nothing to do with being a high-quality film.

This is a movie that will make you laugh in the theater. The jokes aren’t particularly frequent, but they’re not lacking either. However, it’s not memorable after you leave the theater, and you’ll never feel the urge to watch it a second or third time.
From a certain perspective, it can be considered a decent popcorn movie.However, because the TV series was a masterpiece, viewers went to see it with expectations, and the flaws of the film version were magnified to some extent.Judging from the casting and location selection, the film has high ambitions for box office success.The female lead is Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul, who is quite familiar to Chinese audiences. She played the female lead, Xiao Shui, in “First Love” and is considered a “white moonlight” by many.
