Teen Paid Price For Posting Public Intimacy Video

Recently, an 18-year-old boy in Cagliari saw a couple having sex on the street and immediately took out his phone to film the scene. He then uploaded the video online, which resulted in the “female protagonist” in the video suing him.

According to the Italian news website Unionesarda, on Saturday (5th), a boy saw a couple having sex on the street while riding in a friend’s car. He immediately took out his phone, filmed the unusually passionate “performance,” and posted the video on social media.

Shortly after, when the 22-year-old woman, also a resident of the city and the “female protagonist” of the video, realized that her video had been widely circulated online, she immediately went to the Stampace District Gendarmerie Office to sue the person who posted the video. It was clear that the video had been disseminated without her or her partner’s consent.

The military police who received the woman’s report have accepted the case. The military police also pointed out that anyone can take videos or photos of events on the street or in any public area, but such images and materials cannot be disseminated without the consent of the person being filmed; otherwise, it is illegal.

The 18-year-old boy is currently facing charges of illegally distributing pornographic videos.
