Uneven Attraction Between White and Asian People

On global social media platforms, Asian men consistently receive the fewest replies. Conversely, Asian women are extremely popular in Europe and America, with men of all races showing a strong preference for Asian girls.

Many domestic media outlets have joined foreigners in criticizing their own countrymen, claiming that white men have superior genes and that one should marry a foreigner. It’s as if being an Asian man is a crime.

On the contrary, these people are extremely fond of praising and idolizing foreigners, and they even argue that foreigners are more handsome and have better physiques than Chinese people. Some domestic women even spend millions of dollars to give birth to mixed-race children in order to “improve the bloodline” of their offspring.

In some people’s eyes, Asian men are unbearably ugly. They not only complain about them, but they also believe that Asian genes are unacceptable, and they are even willing to spend a lot of money to have a mixed-race child.

It’s strange, why are Asian men and women viewed so differently by Europeans and Americans? Why do many Asian women find their own ethnic men unattractive?

In fact, after humans evolved the concepts of social classes and nations, judging whether a person is good-looking is not just about their appearance, but also about their health and wealth.

For example, during the Tang Dynasty, most people from the Western Regions who came to China engaged in very low-level jobs, such as craftsmen, while women mostly attracted customers with their exotic looks. Obviously, upon seeing these faces, people would first think of “poverty” and “backwardness”.

They were engaged in arduous tasks all day long, and their health was poor. Their offspring would certainly be unsuitable, and no one would want to marry them. Just as Europeans thought Mongols were tall and imposing, that was because Europeans at the time were generally malnourished, with most standing around 1.5 meters tall, not as tall as the Mongols who ate beef and mutton every day.

The reason why people in the Song Dynasty thought the Mongols were ugly was because the Song Dynasty was relatively wealthy, with good food and nutrition, and ordinary people were tall. The Song Dynasty required soldiers to be 1.7 to 1.8 meters tall, and the Imperial Guards were required to be over 1.78 meters tall.

The phenomenon of white people’s height increase occurred after the Industrial Revolution. From 1961 to 1991, the United States had a higher per capita meat supply than Russia, Germany, and China. They ate well, their nutrition improved, and they naturally grew taller, surpassing the then-backward China.

The reason why Europeans and Americans are generally tall is not because they have superior genes, but because of different economic conditions. To put it bluntly, behind this good looks lies health and wealth.

Even today, we can still vaguely see the shadow of such principles when choosing a partner.

A girl’s ideal man is a prince charming on a white horse. This requirement seems romantic, but it’s actually very realistic. Riding a white horse implies not doing manual labor and having a high social status, while a prince represents endless wealth and status. The defining characteristics of a prince charming are clear: high status, health, and wealth.

Data shows that in intermarriages between Asians and Caucasians, the majority of the foreign wives are Asian women, while very few are Asian men.

It’s not because they are so outstanding, but because in modern society, what we need to consider when dating and getting married is no longer just physiological instincts and social class, but also an additional layer: cultural strength.

In the realm of cultural propaganda, Asian men have always been extremely disadvantaged, subjected to various forms of ridicule and insults.

Hollywood films and television shows portray Asians in a very one-sided way. Asian men are often depicted as either sleazy and ugly clowns, cowardly bookworms, or highly skilled martial arts masters who are too aloof and intimidating, lacking any appeal.

So if you’re an Asian man, white women will immediately associate you with one of three things: being a comedian, a fighting machine, or a nerd. These three labels are very negative when it comes to dating.

Even if an Asian man is outgoing and athletic, women often have preconceived notions and are reluctant to date him. No matter how cheerful or humorous he is, he’s unlikely to become a dating prospect without deeper interaction.

In stark contrast, over 90% of the most compelling leadership roles in Hollywood films and television shows are played by white men, who are all exceptionally attractive characters. While Western films are popular worldwide, they also subtly spread the idea that ‘white men are the perfect romantic partners.’

In contrast to Asian men, Asian women in Hollywood films have consistently fulfilled various fantasies of white people. Through long-term cultural influence, foreign men have come to perceive Asian women as submissive, virtuous, and gentle.

The strong influence of Western culture has led to a shift in the perception of various races in the dating market, mirroring the image portrayed in Hollywood movies: white men are seen as the perfect romantic partners, Asian women as virtuous, delicate, and submissive ideal wives, and Asian men as sleazy and dull, not to be dated.

In order to reduce the number of white women in their country marrying Asian men, Europeans and Americans do not ridicule Asian men for being “poor, ugly, or bad,” but rather ridicule them for lacking masculinity.

After all, given China’s national conditions, whether a man from another ethnic group is “poor, ugly, or bad” doesn’t necessarily deter many women from seeking him out. However, a lack of masculinity is a major blow, directly questioning his ability as a man.

A lie repeated a thousand times becomes the truth; cultural invasion is even more terrifying. If we don’t seize the battleground of public opinion, the enemy will. Dominating the discourse is crucial.
