Intimacy vs Love Between Men and Women

Yesterday, I chatted with a woman born in the 1980s who was quite mature for her age and had experienced many relationships before finally finding a good partner. When we talked about romantic relationships and marriage, she said to me with deep feeling:

“True relationships between men and women are indeed built through sleeping together! Those online romances where people claim to be head over heels in love without ever having slept together or even met in person are just deceiving themselves! How can a real relationship be perfect without the union of body and soul?”

I agreed with it at the time. As I said before, “Women progress from romantic love to sexual love, while men progress from sexual love to romantic love. Although there is a difference in the time frame, whichever comes first, the combination of love and sex is the only perfect relationship. Any one-sided relationship is incomplete, especially for women. Without sex, there can be no meaningful relationship.”

While men may place more importance on sex , and I’ve always advocated that girls should only move in together after they’ve truly committed, sex is ultimately the most solid foundation for marriage today. Moreover, the harmony of one’s sex life directly impacts modern marriages and relationships between men and women.

Women, in particular, are becoming more mature and open-minded as society develops, and they are demanding higher and higher quality sex lives! Although men are more promiscuous and prioritize sex, they ultimately cherish the woman with whom they have a true and harmonious relationship.

A true man isn’t defined by his own sexual pleasure, but by his ability to bring pleasure to his woman. Moreover, a woman’s ability to achieve orgasm is greatly influenced by her mood. Men who can help their women reach orgasm every time they have sex generally have stable marriages. This is because he not only experiences pleasure himself but also derives a sense of accomplishment from his woman’s happiness. That’s the most reliable thing!

So there’s some truth to the saying that relationships between men and women can develop from sleeping together! No wonder everyone says, “What women hate most is their man sleeping with other women.” That’s the reason, because she’s afraid that sleeping together will develop real feelings and pose a threat to her.

After all this, some might question: if relationships are based on sleeping together, shouldn’t they be incredibly reliable? Why then are there so many cases of infidelity? In a sense, most relationships today are tinged with some degree of falsehood. We can’t say there’s no such thing as truly genuine and stable love in this world. However, most relationships aren’t that solid. If two people are together, as long as they are tolerant of each other, don’t suspect each other, and cherish each other, then their love will be as stable as a mountain.
