"What Really Motivates Women to DIY: Beyond the Pinterest Aesthetic"

Compared to those who are self-taught, I’m quite slow when it comes to DIY: after five years of having sex and two boyfriends, I only stumbled upon the joy of DIY. The first time was with my then-boyfriend, who volunteered to use a vibrator to help me with my pre-coital sex. This vibrator was a gift from my ex-boyfriend, so the scene was quite amusing. It truly became my go-to companion after my boyfriend introduced me to adult films. I discovered that the combination of the two was incredibly satisfying. I used to be unable to understand the psychology behind men’s love for pornographic films, but after experiencing it myself, I was proven wrong. Thus began my DIY journey.
